Copperbelt Patriotic Front (PF) provincial chairman Stardy Mwale is opposed to the party going for an extra-ordinary convention to elect a party presidential candidate because there will be violence. Mwale is of the view that the PF would disintegrate into chaos once opposing factions and those who are jostling for the party presidency meet at the convention. The PF has a daunting task to elect a party president who will also be the presidential candidate in the forthcoming elections after the demise of Michael Sata who was buried on November 11, 2014 at Lusaka’s Embassy Park.
