Cops are the good guys, huh? Ive been seeing so many videos and posts like this regarding the abuse of power by police enforcement. Its a shame to see citizens like this man -who are not in the wrong, mind you- being punished simply because an officer feels like he/shes within their rights to justify certain behaviors. Thats NOT their jobs, its the court systems duty to distinguish right vs. wrong and innocent vs. guilty. Sure, cops can arrest whomever they please, but it should be for the right reasons such as when a CRIME is being committed. Not when a father is simply trying to make the officer aware of his childs disability. My mother always told me, with great power comes great responsibility and these officers clearly cannot handle the responsibilities of being police officers. What ever happened to serve and protect?... And here I thought violence wasnt the answer. But what do I know? Im just some college student whos opinion doesnt even matter.
