Cordi , Roxie, Atti and Tense are my string to use that old Western phrase. Instead of constantly swapping around, upgrading, endlessly searching for the superhero, I`m very content to see where these can go. I used to be on that endless quest for the big talent for advanced eventing, and while you are in that mode, you probably have to do that. But I enjoy what progress, such as it is, that I make with these, and it`s quite a relief to be off that treadmill. I can see how riders burn out and retire at some young age like 45-55. The pressure they subject themselves to is intense. This is my 61st season of competing, but it`s at a level I want, not something I feel I ought to be doing.
