Cords of death ripping through my mind, spirit, soul and any other part of my being that Im forgetting. Sheaths of jagged torture. They say emotions are honored guests. They are here to tell us something , and when theyve had their say, they will go on their way. But I am too afraid to hear what they are saying. Cuz I already know what they want to tell me. They want to tell me that I miss my kids. I hide from this truth everyday just to avoid the pain. They are getting louder and more persistent, and i can no longer hide. Theyve found me and demand my attention. What will I say to them? Yes, come in...expose my heart to the unacceptable truth?
