Coreys thoughts for 1/29: Looks like we may get another bout of winter weather next week. (Tues.?). While the possibility exists, its still way too far out to pinpoint any details. But folks, it could get pretty bad. Ive been watching this on the computer models for a few days now, and was going to hold off on mentioning it, but now the TV meteorologists have picked up on it. Im sure they waited as long as they could, but if one mentions it, they all do. Its like a competition for them. Unfortunately, winter weather is the trickiest of all weather types to predict. So they might get it wrong. People bash the weathermen when this happens, but they shouldnt. Usually, just a few miles is the difference between no snow and a ton of snow. Not sure about the coming winter storm, as it looks like it might be pretty widespread across the area. Right now my advice is this: Stay tuned to weather reports. Dont rush to he grocery store just yet. Ill let you know when you need to do that! During the late summer and fall months, I had a hunch that we would have a bad winter. Does this fit your definition of a bad winter for the Ozarks?
