Cornell Dump and Run to be held this weekend Dump and Run – the university’s “yard sale” of recycled furniture, housewares, clothing, sporting goods and electronics – will be held Aug. 23, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m., and Aug. 24, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at Helen Newman Hall. Entrance to the sale is free and open to the public. Proceeds from Dump and Run support such local organizations as Cops, Kids, & Toys, Shelter Outreach Services, Loaves and Fishes, Finger Lakes ReUse, Greater Ithaca Activities Center and the Cornell United Way Student Campaign. Last year, Dump and Run at Cornell raised $60,500 for Ithaca-area charities and agencies.
