Corporate Driver 0.00 KES Details Advert Type Offer Advert ID #3079280 last modified 6/27/2013 Description Timing: Position open for immediate staffing As a Corporate Driver you will be responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the business unit. Your primary role will be to support the daily duties and activities of the Excelsior East Africa Office. Overall responsibilities include: Carrying out routine basic checks and carrying out emergency mechanical repairs on the vehicle’s cooling and oil systems, electrical system, tire pressure, brakes, etc.; Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicle systems in time; * Maintenance of accurate records such as work tickets, service records etc for vehicles assigned to them; Driving the vehicle as authorized; Timely reporting of incidents/accidents on the road Observing traffic rules and the company’s transport policy Carrying out messengerial duties like dispatching mails, parcels, making payments etc Report and follow up on the servicing and repairs of assigned vehicles Security and safety for the vehicle on and off the road; Safety of the passengers and/or goods therein and maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle. Qualifications for the Role Attained a minimum KCSE certificate or its equivalent; A current driving license free from current endorsements and valid for all of the classes of vehicles, which the driver is required to drive; Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers At least three (4) years previous satisfactory driving experience after obtaining the driving license; Passed occupational test grade III; A valid first Aid Certificate; and a valid certificate of good conduct.
