Corporate News: # Sadbhav Engineering has won a Rs 140-crore project in Odisha for widening a Raj-Athagarh-Narsinghpur Road to two-lane under State Highways Development Project on engineering, procurement and construction basis. The maintenance period for the highway is for 24 months from the date of completion. # Shasun Pharmaceuticals Ltd has signed the Joint Venture (JV) agreement with Bangalore-based pharmaceutical firm SeQuent Scientific Ltd to develop, manufacture and sell veterinary products including active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and formulations in the global market.SeQuent and Shasun will hold 73% and 27% stake respectively in the JV firm. # BP is working with Reliance Industries to extend the life of producing gas fields in the Bay of Bengal KG-D6 block. BP, which bought a 30% stake in RILs 21 oil and gas blocks, including KG-D6, for $7.026 billion in 2011, is working with RIL to arrest the output decline in the fields. # Indian Oil Corp (IOC) to buy a 10 % stake in its Pacific NorthWest LNG project, along with a 10 % stake in the northern British Columbia shale gas assets that will feed the LNG facility. It also agreed to an off take deal for 1.2 million tonnes of LNG each year, or about 10 % of the projects annual exports. # Engineers India Ltd (EIL) has won its largest ever overseas consultancy contract for a 20 million tonne oil refinery in Nigeria as it looks at markets abroad to more than double its revenue to $ 1 billion in the next 3-4 years. The state-owned firm has won a $ 139 million contract from Nigerian company Dangote Group for providing project management consultancy (PMC) and engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for a refinery and polypropylene plant.
