Key themes: Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility, Energy Management, SHE, EHS, Environmental Management, CSR. itecopeople is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a FTSE listed, Global Engineering and Technology Plc as they look to recruit a Group Level, Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Manager into an expanding CSR and Sustainability team. There is a great remit to drive the sustainability and wider CSR agenda forward with scope for progression into Director Level remit as part of the succession planning moving forward. The location on the South Coast of the UK with the sandy beaches and national parks could be somewhat appealing as well. As the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Manager you will be responsible for playing a leading role engaging with stakeholders, strategy, governance, performance management, public disclosure and reporting and assurance. Applicants should be experienced in; identifying and working closely with both internal and external stakeholder groups, developing communication materials, reporting into initiatives such as the CDP (Carbon disclosure Project), contributing to an organisations CR and Sustainability strategy, development of CSR and Sustainability policies, management of corporate compliance and non-financial reporting such as the CRC and as the focal point for SHE across the business, applicants should have some experience of operating in this capacity. Applicants will therefore be welcomed from those who can demonstrate the following knowledge and skills: · Significant knowledge of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability · Knowledge of SHE · Background in Engineering/Manufacturing · Experience of Audit and reporting · GHG accounting experience. · Multinational corporate environment exposure You should be degree qualified in a relevant discipline and membership of IEMA and a certificate in NEBOSH would be desirable.
