Corporate Welfare aka Corporate Subsidies means that Corporations collect Millions of dollars from the Government as business grants especially those major ones that record billion dollar profit margins. The laws making this process possible date back to the Great Depression and was enacted to assist Companies to get back on their feet to reinvigorate the economy and save the United States from a complete collapse. After the economy recovered the laws that created these assistance programs were NEVER REPEALED even long after fulfilling its purpose. This is a case of the hugest abuse of governmental aid in history. If every single person in the United States were on public assistance and food stamps it wouldnt even be 1/8 the amount that these Corporations receive every year. This is tax payer money being given away for free to businesses that are filthy rich in profit. That coupled with the fact that corps pay literally NO TAXES WHATSOEVER creates a ridiculous paradigm when Republicans cut social programs to Balance the Budget. If we wanted to balance the United States budget all we would have to do is simply punish these abusers and charge them for the money they have bilked and charge them interest on it for doing so. Prison is not suitable for these types crooks they need something far more punitive. The death penalty would be my recommendation.
