Correction of the Day: The Beastie Boys did not sue that - TopicsExpress

Correction of the Day: The Beastie Boys did not sue that Goldieblox company for unfairly using the Beastie Boys song Girls in an advertisement. The Boys simply asked, Yo. What up with that?. The company apparently sued first, in a bid to make the Beasties previous weakness (shame over their youthful womanizing ways and the song that was used) into the companys strength, in the form of preemptively using and suing the Beasties for use of the song in their pro-woman toy ad. Anyhow... Great-sounding product. Great ad. Great public relations. The company just shouldnt have used that song without prior authorization. The rule of law still applies to companies last I checked. Oh wait. Silly me. And that toy appears to be made in China, a country with one of the best feminist records EVAR.
