Corruption free Sierra Leone The only way to tackle corruption and fraudulent activities in Sierra Leone is to apply logical checks and balances into every single one of the public sectors and financial institution in the country. There have to be a government or president who is willing and ready to set up independent panel separate from political groups and affiliation. Not even the president to have influence on the works of the independent team. The independent team has to be train and prepare with resources for services to thrive when dealing with corrupt issues. This approach is to avoid favoritism, connection and biasness on the scheme or the worst. Such approach is to strengthen the course for corrupt free society (Sierra Leone). Although the independent panel can work together with the current Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) board and the police - the policing structure on top of that needs to be scrutinize to get-rid of bad apples. To enforce CHECKS AND BALANCES structure the Sierra Leone police force requires sophisticated hi-tech equipment to track: crimes, corruption, fraud and any other unlawful activities (state offenders). This is for our country to have self control and in such way the government of Sierra Leone will remain separate from the section that deals with corruption. The government will and can continue to implement new laws to maximize the powers of the independent panel, ACC and the police forces so their services to implement theses laws can uphold. However these laws should remain strict and fair to all citizens of the nation especially by way in which enforcers can put it into practice. Within few years time Sierra Leonean will eventually accept the system and abide by the rules and regulations because it will be seen and accepted as the right thing to do – after all that will help make our country grow faster and stronger. Moreover that is regarded as civilize way of living. And every single cases regardless of fraud and corrupt behavior can be dealt with drastically – and there shouldn’t be any unturned stone.
