Corruption & pollution are mirror images, occurring in India etc because public property is demarcated fuzzily (one rare use of fuzzy set theory); and is not respected as a rule. Corruption transmutes valuable public property & makes it private; pollution pushes negatively priced private property (i.e. waste/garbage) into the public domain...Both go hand in hand as public property is disrespected generally.
