Corry Bliss, campaign manager for Roberts, repeated his assertion the Kansas State University falsely claimed the senators campaign had been asked to remove the advertisement from TV screens. Senator Roberts is proud to have coach Snyder’s endorsement and it’s sad that Greg Orman’s liberal allies in the administration have engaged in a campaign of misleading press leaks and bully tactics, Bliss said. He was referring to leakage of the email memorandum from President Schulz to KSU governance members that provided detail about internal debate at the university and in the athletics department about Snyders role in the ad. Bliss blamed Orman supporters for acting as bullies, but provided no evidence. In response to the notion Snyder was tricked into filming an endorsement, Bliss said filming occurred last week at a time and place convenient for Snyder and acceptable to Roberts.
