Cory Penfold Moxie Media & Promotions The second annual Summer Sizzle kart series just got a little more interesting. The Summer Sizzle will begin Thursday at August 14th at Albany Motorsports Park, move south to Cottage Grove Speedway and Finish at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon, Oregon. The points fund being sponsored courtesy of James Gang Pizza is at $1000 but Crockers Cars has just announced they will be adding an additional $500 to the fund bring the total purse up to $1500. The Summer Sizzle is one of the biggest cage kart events in the Pacific Northwest drawing karts from as far away as Nevada for this years events. The 2014 Summer Sizzle will see some big names with the likes of Bricen James, Brendan Waterman, McKenzie Thompson, Eric Scofield, Kyle Cormickan, Talyn Roberts, Casey Starr and other Northwest karting stars. This years event has confirmed entrys coming from California, Nevada and Washington as well as Oregons best pilots. Do not miss the 2014 Summer Sizzle with big money on the line from James Gang Pizza and Crockers Cars youre sure to see the best in the west shoot it out at the three best kart tracks in the state. All three tracks are very different from one another. The Sizzle champion will have to bring their best to all three tracks if they want to put their name on the trophy and claim the 2014 championship.
