Cory and I just got back from a second honeymoon for an early celebration of our 20th anniversary. We spent the most amazing 5 days in Vancouver, Canada. Five days filled with beauty, culture, fun, and delicious food with my love and best friend. The trip started one day early, when we drove the children to Idaho. It was very hard to leave them. We had never, the two of us at the same time, left them for more than one night, but I knew they were going to be well with their aunt and uncle, and grandparents. We flew to Vancouver by way of LAX, so of course I was looking all over the airport for my celebrity sighting, and I got it. Jeremy Sisto was not only in the airport but in the same flight to Vancouver. Jeremy Sisto, most recently from Suburgatory and previous to that Law and Order. You know, Jeremy Sisto. Ok fine, not a big celebrity! On a different topic, LAX has got to be THE worst International Airport ever! After a very long trip that included a car ride, a shuttle drive, two airplanes, a train, and a little of a walk-because we missed our train stop while discussing International roaming charges on calls, data, and text messages--we arrived at the most amazing hotel in downtown Vancouver: The Rosewood Georgia Hotel.
