Incorporated] Statement of Purpose: COS WE COUNT is an “A” Political not for profit Advocacy Action Group intent on Advocacy/ Promotion / Improvement of the Quality of Life for all people in the Colac Otway Shire and Statewide. 1. To Advocate for the Health, Safety and Welfare of all people in the Colac Otway Shire and beyond . 2. To Promote open “Two Way” consultation from all levels of Government with the people of the Colac Otway Shire and beyond. . 3. To Improve “RAISE THE BAR” with regard to ALL services and infrastructure within the Colac Otway Shire and beyond and refuse to allow any level of future Government to lower the this bar. 4. If and when required, CosWEcount! Inc. will petition and or demonstrate against all levels of Government in Australia [Federal / State / Local] in order to Advocate for the Promotion and Improvement of Services and Infrastructure in the Colac Otway Shire and beyond regardless of the Political persuasion of those Governments. COS WE COUNT is not resident based, therefore giving all who care an opportunity to voice their opinion. Many People have relatives living in the Colac Otway Shire and share the concerns of the often maligned permanent residents who need a “grass roots” voice in our Community. Anyone concerned with people’s Health, Well being and Quality of Life can join and assist in the Advocacy, Promotion and Improvement of the Colac Otway Shire and beyond.
