Could I ask all my spritual friends to send my mum healing please? Shes in a very bad way at the moment. Weve been trying to get a spinal injection for her as she is is such pain and she had an emergency/priority appointment card with her consultant so that she could get an injectiion quickly so she doesnt have to suffer the weeks of agony that she had before. Because its been over a year since the last injection, shes been told she has to go back to the GP to be re-referred!!! We know that from past experience that she is likely to have to wait for several weeks before she even sees her consultant now which means weeks of constant excrutiating pain, inability to dress herself, wash herself, sleep in her bed etc. The GPs only suggestion was that because we (the NHS) are in such a state, the only thing is if you drive your mum to the hospital and tell them that you are leaving her there until shes had the injection. Nice! Merry Christmas NHS.
