Could each of you please pray for me. I try always to post positive messages here and support others, but am feeling very depressed right now: The black dog of depression is settling on me once more. So tired, and the knowledge that the anniversary of my brother Roys death is coming up next month. Feeling very alone too. Since the fall-out at home in 2011, when hubby and son had a terrible fight, with hubby ending up in hospital and son being convicted of GBH, 98% of friends have disappeared. Whether appalled, or just not knowing what to say. Who knows? It makes me realise how alone the homeless, people caring for others, people with terminal illness, and physical and mental illnesses must feel. Were not the shiny, successful ones where everyone crowds around. Religion doesnt mean people are more caring - quite the contrary, to be honest. Spirituality is similar: most people run away from darkness, quote platitudes and tell those of us in darkness (temporary or permanent) to be positive, things will soon change. Everyone wants a fairytale ending. I feel very rejected and misunderstood right now, and so its vital that Im my own best friend. Peace to you all.
