Could not agree more.....Asimov, Sagan....hell....even *Bill Nye* have warned us of this sad and dangerous eventuality for decades.....like it or not...science (of everything!) is not revocable....its here....it (the human *capacity* to think in as rational a way as we can) actually has never *not* been with us as a species...ever. As a nation we must insist upon a return to this understanding....we used to.....it was a great source of national pride and a source of hope for the future....and most rightfully so! Willfully maintaining ignorance....or preventing a good scientific and math education in todays globally competitive world? Madness! Ok....Im done! ;)
