Moon is a great kids pony, she has been teaching kid to ride on lease for the last few years. In her current lease family she has taken the kids from complete beginners to cantering and jumping around a riding track unassisted. Ive owned her for years, she taught me to ride properly when I was young. I was in the grade 1 group when taking her to riding club, she has also been to pony club with young riders in lower groups on and off the lead. She has won classes at local shows, been to freshman type show jumping days, has had countless trail riding experience and is safe around traffic. For a more experienced rider she is responsive and forward moving, she can turn on a dime and has a beautiful self carriage. She seems to prefer being a lazy kids pony these days though. Meets you at the gate, walks on the float, stand for the farrier and dentist. She has really good brakes and a very soft mouth, she also moves forward off the leg, has no vices and no buck/bolt/rear. She is extremely food motivated, full of character and is very cheeky. Your typical sweet natured but cheeky pony. Interested in a realistic price for what you would pay for her alone, and what you would pay with all gear- an extensive wardrobe of rugs and quality fitted saddle and bridle.
