Could someone explain to me how this Islamic uprising around the world is not World War 3. By this morning, the only continent not affected is South America. From China, to Russia, to India, to Pakistan (and other asian countries), to Europe, to Middle East, to Africa, to the USA and to Australia. Basically, it is a war that is being fought on a wider expanse than even the last 2 world wars. Looking at the cost of human life, the lives lost to date stand at over 1 million souls. Of course this will increase dramatically the moment groups like ISIS and Boko Haram and the dozens of other well funded groups get good control over their lands. When they have enough power , and their financiers are comfortable enough to publicly push their agenda including influencing their national politics wherever they are, the cost on human life will be a lot more. Then of course there will be the backlash against Muslims. It is already happening in Australia, Angola and in some European countries and it is not pretty at all. While this has been generally downplayed in the mainstream media, there are quite some developments in this and there is no telling which way this will go. In fact, the only thing missing today is a bunch of Christian Crusaders openly fighting against the Muslim Jihadists ... (Well, there were those 3 Americans who crossed over some weeks ago to defend their fellow Christians). Basically, this is a WW3 that unlike the previous 2, is being fought not on borders and nationalistic basis, but on a religious basis. Anyway, I guess the world is probably waiting for an apocalyptic fallout before reacting effectively? Lets wait and see how it goes, but it is a very sad situation we have here.
