Could we get a straight answer here? I just heard back-to-back TV ads (almost--there was a shampoo commercial between them) about Question 3. One said the money was guaranteed to go to education. The other said there was no guarantee the money would go to education. Im inclined to believe the first, because in 30 years of writing about politics, Ive found that the right and the anti-tax crusaders are prone to hysteria not necessarily based on reality. Im keeping an open mind, though: which side is lying? Please be brief, cite facts, and dont drift into the measures alleged impact on small business, because thats not the question. Does the money go to education or does it not?
