Couldnt figure out how to write something on my pictures of my mother in honor of her birthday. I was just not going too, but I cant. She is an awesome woman and her life has been such an inspiration to me. My mother was placed in Connie Maxwell Childrens Home when she was 4 years old because my grandfather had left my grandmother with 3 small children and my grandmother had no choice but to place her and her brother where she knew theyd be taken care of. My mother has never been bitter about this and God used it for HIS glory. She accepted the Lord Jesus as her Saviour while she was there. She was reunited with her mother when she was 12 years old. She was later reunited with her father and had a somewhat strained relationship with him until he became a widower and needed some help because of his age. She showed alot of forgiveness and dove in and took care of him tirelessly for many years. He stayed with her in her home for about a year until she finally had to place him in a nursing home because she physically couldnt manage him anymore. She has helped Larry and I sooooo much through his transplant, pre and post!!! She has driven more miles than we can count, cooked more meals than we can count, cleaned more than we want to admit (lol!), and shown patience and love. My kids are sooo blessed and soooo know it!! They call her most of the time before they ask me. I love her, my kids love her, my Husband loves her, and most people I know love her. She is a virtuous woman of God!! She doesnt have FB but if you see her, tell her happy birthday and tell her that her best, sweetest, smartest, loveliest daughter (lol...Carol) said she thinks shes the bomb and told the whole world so!!!
