Couldnt find out much about the Laconia Diner in Lowell. Did find this blog post about it - not much more - left off the name of the poster. As an undergraduate at U Mass Lowell (when I was there it went through its wild transitions - Lowell State, Lowell University, and U Mass Lowell), Laconia had 15 cent Pabst Blue Ribbon beer on tap and it attracted the 15 cent draft beer kind of crowd. Sounds like an interesting place.
