Couldnt quite wrap my brain around what I saw today on the roads until I was just texting my Dad about it. For my people up North & from the D - you know how ud cruise Heinz Park/Elizabeth Park/ Belle Isle and all the cars would be off to each side of the road and everyone would be out shooting the shit and just hanging out? Thats what it looked like today - but they were stuck/stranded/broke down. Totally mind blowing. 100s of cars on a 5 mile stretch of Riverside Parkway. To go 18 miles and it take almost 8 hours. I literally could have walked it faster but I had my babies with me. So many people walking with their kids in the cold on the sides of icy roads. Crazy. Every road had some major disaster. I have never wanted to get off the road more than today. What a cluster.
