Council housing rent increases should be with you or arrive shortly,again we have a massive increase of 5.2% bringing rises over the past 5 years to around 25%,with none or very small wage increases, where will people find the money for this,its not as if we get a brilliant service from SAC.We would like to hear from the ruling parties if they themselves have had this type of increase to their rent/mortgage,particularly the conservatives whose leaders mantra is We are all in this together or is it a bit George Orwell where we are all equal,just some are more equal than others. For those affected by the bedroom tax your contribution towards rent will also increase,please apply for Discretionary Housing Payment.
