Council of Churches of Egypt: reject Western disinformation and foreign interference in our affairs Council of Churches of Egypt announced complete rejection of Western misled willful and intransigent against the free people of Egypt, and denied the right of its citizens to defend themselves against terrorism, also rejected any foreign intervention in the affairs of the nation in any form. The Council of Churches of Egypt condemned in a statement, on Saturday evening, with all the intensity of the brutal attacks on police stations and public facilities and honest citizens, also condemned the successive attacks on Egyptian churches and Christians and their property in all parts of the country. He appealed to the Council in the statement, signed by the Rev. Dr. Bishoy Helmy, Secretary General of the Council, the brave men of the armed forces to firmly support the efforts of police officers loyal to restore security and stability of the country.
