Councillor News:- Via Councillor Douglas Chapman. The Queensferry Lodge Hotel has submitted a planning application which will almost double the size of the number of bedrooms - from 77 to 150. Areas of the hotel will also be upgraded along with additional parking should the planning application be approved. Local councillor, Douglas Chapman said There are a lot of jobs in tourism and hospitality and the proximity of the the three Forth bridges is, no doubt, a factor in the decision to expand the hotel on this site. The planning application, if approved, would result in a considerable investment being made and I look forward to many more jobs being created in the Rosyth and North Queensferry area through this venture.
