Councilwoman Jempson is asking the community to tell her how they feel about the ProLogis Eucalyptus Industrial Park warehouse project. The ProLogis Eucalyptus Industrial Park warehouse project will be located just east of Moreno Beach Blvd. and the Auto Mall. The project proposes to change the currently permitted land uses and zoning to permit the construction of 4 warehouses with a total of 1.6 million square feet. Previously, the developer proposed 6 warehouses with 2.2 million sq. ft. but has decided to forgo the two buildings closet to the neighboring housing tract. They have not stated what alternative use they will pursue for that area. One concern is that if they can not find a suitable use they will come back and request the two missing warehouses.
