Counselors and Security Guards (Berry Community Center) compensation: $10/hr. part-time non-profit organization United Activities Unlimited is currently looking to hire individuals who are passionate about the well-being and development of youth in the community. In particular, we are looking for counselors and security guards to work at the Berry Community Center to help children with their homework, assist in academic and recreational activities, and be responsible for supervision of all participants. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES: Motivate group participation. Assist participants with academics and recreation. Plan age appropriate activities. Monitor participants behavior and report to staff. Instruct participants in the rules and regulations of games. Daily communication with the Program Director. Perform clean up duties every day.
