Counting my Blessings... To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you. C.S Lewis We have all sinned and unconsciously we will all sin again. God will forgive our sins if we ask Him to with complete sincerity in our heart. We need to keep this in mind when someone asks for our forgiveness for something we feel is inexcusable. Depending on the circumstances of course, we should try to find it in our heart to forgive someone who has sinned and is now asking for another chance to make their life better. Forgiveness doesnt mean we will or should forget the sin, it also doesnt mean that we will or should allow that person back in our life. It means that we release the hate from our heart and pray for that person, pray that God has entered their life and their ways have changed. God will determine whether the forgiveness they seek is genuine. Our job is simply to allow that person the chance at a better life if they are truly seeking it. God will do the rest. ...Today, I am thankful for the forgiveness God has given to me and that I allow myself to forgive others....
