But we all have something to offer even if it is to only one other person. Sometimes it is hard to see what it is we have to offer, so start with the obvious first, your family, friends and significant others. Imagine how different our lives would be without them in your life. Just by loving them, you give them something and they you. Sometimes we want to do more for others and we dont know how. We see others helping and we want to do the same. This can take years and many attempts at different things. Start by volunteering your time at a non-profit that you feel passionately about or think about your talents and where they might be the most helpful.You may not find the fit you are looking for immediately, but if you really want to do reach out to others, the right fit will come along. And remember, you dont have to help a bunch of people, sometimes your right fit is just helping those you are closest to. ...Today, I am thankful for all the people I have helped and all the people who have helped me...
