Countless men and women have died as a direct result of war. Often - TopicsExpress

Countless men and women have died as a direct result of war. Often all that is left are broken hearts, empty chairs at family gatherings, pride and the hope that their loved ones sacrifices will never be forgotten. At the MMMF (Missouri Military Memorial Foundation) we are doing what we can to preserve their memories for future generations. Our non-profit consists of Gold Star family and friends who have lost loved ones in a time of war. We are honoring those from Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Most memorials take a generation, or more, to be built. Our goal is to see to it that the heroes from the State of Missouri are honored during our lifetime so their family and friends have an opportunity to stand before it and know that future generations will learn of their loved ones sacrifice. Maybe youve always wanted to show your support and never quite knew how to do it. Perhaps you werent sure what to say or how to say it. Through our Pave the Way for Heroes campaign, leaving a personal tribute or memorial is now easier than ever. For $300 you can buy a brick/paver that will be installed around our Phase One project...the Gold Star Pavilion. You can have it inscribed with your personal message (please read the order form for more details) and available clipart. The GSP will be built at Jefferson Barracks Park. The full memorial will be built near the pavilion. If you have a small business, grassroots non-profit (like the MMMF) or a group of individuals who want to honor our heroes with a personal memorial then this campaign is perfect for you. Even if youd like to purchase one by yourself...youre more than welcome. Since we are a grassroots non-profit (we all volunteer our time and no money is spent on advertising) we welcome help in spreading the news of the Pave the Way for Heroes campaign via word-of-mouth, Facebook, Twitter and the like. If you arent interested in purchasing a brick, but would like to make a tax-deductible donation please visit our website below. The MMMF website is located at MissouriMilitary.org
