Countries have control over its own people, but it does not have control over foreign nationals. The U.S. government knows this and so long as Hawaiians maintain their sovereignty, the U.S. can never truly have control over us. By the way, notice how despite the overwhelming number of testimony in opposition of fed-wreck, the news media keeps portraying it as an even divide. I cant help but to imagine that its an attempt to soften up the unknowing public to make it appear as if Hawaiians might actually want fed-wreck -- so when they force it on us, people will think it was what was wanted.
