County Galway Culture Night - 20th September 2013 PRESENTS...... ORANMORE.... Oranmore Active in Age Oranmore and Respond Housing Association Batik Workshop 4pm, Ard na Mara. Following our very successful Batik workshop, that was held in May during The Bealtaine Festival, we are holding another. Due to the nature of the workshop numbers will be limited. Film Screening 7pm, The Blue Room, Respond Building, Ard na Mara Light refreshments will be served and we hope you will join us for a discussion of the chosen film. Akin Exhibition 6pm - 9pm, Oranmore Castle Akin a group of well known Galway artists will come together and display an intimate selection their work in Oranmore Castle. A glass of some bubbly will be served! Afro Renaissance Intercultural Music Fusion 6pm – 9pm, Maree Community Hall, Oranmore This is a two part intercultural music and dance event. The first part will contain a jam music session of indigenous African and Irish instruments. This will be followed by an all inclusive African music and dance workshop.
