Couple of good club nights this week. Welcome visit from Nigel Pedley from Birmingham again. Michael Daley, the ‘Wizzie Kid’ managed a fab time on the track just falling short of Janet’s record run of 56 laps in 14 minutes 33.812 seconds. Michael’s time was 56 laps in 14 minutes 39.535 Michael’s run was just for fun though and didn’t really count because he was running just ‘chassis only’. Still a bloody good achievement though as the car could still ‘deslot’ easy. Nigel brought his Routemaster London Bus that he had adapted to run on slot track. We managed to get it round some of our track but most was off-limits due to the models height. Jack Weegram managed some good stuff on the track with his new car. Amazing……when he was using club cars it was more like a model flying club the amount of time the cars he was driving left the track at some alarming speeds. With his own car, although he deslotted a few times his car never left the track plastic other than when he picked it up. Great to see Matt turn up for the banter and grub.
