Couple of things. Wanted to share this train street mural, which was apinted in an alley in Bethesda, MD. Bethesda has a lot of this higher rent street art going on. Makes it a more interesting place. Also, here are a couple of snaps of the ducks and other waterfowl that increasingly appear in the early morning at the bend in the Potomac River around the Lincoln Memorial. Ive been commuting on the same route at the same time for 17 years now, and there has been a steadily increasing population of waterfowl at this time of year. Sometimes there are hundreds of waterfowl, often turning towards and away from the banks in unison or in seemingly choreographed fashion. Since Im driving, I can never get a good shot (and there is no place to park). I cant tell whether the dramatic increase in population is because of conservation measures taking hold on the river, climactic change, or some other reason. Its agreeable though, and it makes the ride more enjoyable.
