Couple of years ago I saw a movie called i-robot. Very exciting and action packed. I loved it and at a time thought if there will ever be a time when robots will serve man or take the jobs of men in companies, but I thought ‘ it is just a movie’. But I have come to realise that the things we see as science fiction movies, give it 10-20 years the technology will be in use. I asked myself again will robots ever serve men or take the place of men in offices? Last Saturday I was having discussion with a mentor who was telling me how US supermarkets provide machines to serve you. They take the place of humans in attending to your purchase, checking the cost, taking the money from you and handing your change over to you. It struck me that that movie wasn’t really talking about machines in human forms(robots). It’s all about simple chips planted in devices to make human decisions like the one I just talked about. People have lost their jobs. Some cars now drive themselves. What will drivers be doing? We now have deposit machines in banks like GTB, very soon human tellers won’t have to go to work. This is a ploy to render humans redundant, the reason for that, honestly I don’t know. Funny enough this machines have crept into churches. They are not stationed the churches but we the church goers take them their every day. You all will agree with me about the craze over mobile devices ;the tabs, Ipads, iphones, galaxies and so on. They are wonderful devices that make a lot very easy but my advice is don’t put all your hope on that because it the tool the devil has devised to send BIBLE into extinction involuntarily. Back in the days, people were killed for reading the bible or having it but still it still retained the number one all time best seller in the world . But now the devil want we the Christians to send the bible into extinction all by ourselves. We have been offered the afore mentioned devices and some day involuntarily we will be so used to them that we won’t even know where our BIBLES are. Seriously, this will take some time but the human mind go with the trend. And some day when we can’t take the MARK we won’t have access to these devices and the internet. When that happens what will you do? ADVICE: Buy your gadgets, use them but make sure the hard copy of your BIBLE is intact. If possible buy as many as possible because you never know you might be of great help to SOMEONE else. You can also be a living embodiment of the word of God buy writing it in your heart and mind and moving around with it- that is if you can. Don’t count on it but if you can its OK.
