Well cover it up for Petes Sake, you are a skincare and makeup professional and know exactly what to do to look FLAWLESS. Is your makeup done? Are you dressed to get the job? 5. Be On Time This is important because to employers it may very well set the mental tone or what they perceive will be your norm. Be at least 15-20 minutes early. NO MATTER WHAT. 6. Stay Calm Relax and take a deep breath. Never let them see you sweat. If youre calm you are also setting the unspoken message that you can extend that same calmness to their clients 7. Show What you Know Demonstrate through conversation what you know about product ingredients, how good your are at retail, present your portfolio for a visual of how you can manage acne issues, lash extensions, best bridal makeup and so on.
