Courage is that quality of mind which enables people to encounter danger or difficulty firmly, without fear or discouragement but the fear of the Lord always takes away all other fears. This is the secret of Christian courage and boldness. Christians without courage are a strange and pathetic contradiction and a constant hindrance to revival. It is only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. True courage is not the absence of fear but the willingness to proceed in spite of it and courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point. The badge of courage does not require that we walk through something dangerous. It simply requires that we continue to share Gods love whenever and wherever we are as our God has declared: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. God Bless.
