Court declares junior doctors strike illegal The High Court has declared the strike by junior doctors in Telangana as illegal and ordered the agitating junior doctors to resume duties within 48 hours. These orders were issued by a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice PV Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday. The Bench also asked the government not to take any penal action against them till the expiry of the deadline set by it. The court has also asked the government to look into the legitimate demands of the junior doctors. The Bench was delivering the judgment in a case filed by Ravi Kiran Samy who complained against the strike against the junior doctors. The Bench said that the doctors who were supposed to save lives could not resort to agitations and said the government should also come forward with the solution to their legitimate demands and reminded everyone that medical profession was a noble service.
