“Court is now interacting and taking the consent of the Community people, Civil Society members and Media to know their perception about Court and Court Decision. The purpose of these dialogue is to help the court authority to improve its role so that the community can own the decision of Court and seek the justice through formal justice system” Said Honorable Chief Judge Prakash Kharel of District Court Mahottari in the, “Justice Outreach Program” jointly organized by District Court Mahottari and THRD Alliance on 29th Nov 2014 at Jaleshwor, Mahottari. The representative of Political parties, Community activist, women rights activists, Human Rights Defenders, Media persons and the community people of Mahottari raised their concern on lengthy process, manipulation in case, role of Judge and Lawyers involved in the case, access and critique in the case of VAW (Domestic violence, Rape, Witch craft), case related with property, statement taking process and role of District Attorney and Police in the case process. Honorable Judge Krishna Murari Shivakoti and Journalist Rakesh Prasad Chaudhary facilitated the dialogue.
