Courtesy Anusha Rizvi (Stephanian) A strong opposition is not just necessary for a democracy to keep the Government in check and on it’s toes but also to help it and strengthen it. On May 16th this year India was left with no opposition in Parliament. In the meanwhile the new Government is giving us enough indications that it is actually a ‘Company ki Sarkar’. In this scenario it is only right that the opposition is provided by the People themselves. Therefore to form an effective opposition and to safeguard our constitutional rights a large number of civil liberties organizations are coming together under one banner ‘Abki Baar Humara Adhikar’ and will deliberate on an alternate development paradigm on the 30th Nov and 1st Dec in Ambedkar Bhavan, New Delhi. 2nd Dec will be a massive rally of more than 20,000 people who are most affected by these pro- corporate policies of the government. Please join us. And share widely. Thank you. You can get more information on it from the Facebook page https://facebook/abkibaarhumaraadhikar?ref=hl And follow them on Twitter @HumaraAdhikar, #adhikar. Convening Groups 1.
