Courtesy Post!! We received and URGENT PLEA FOR HELP! This is Mabel and she needs a safe place to go by Friday! Mabel was being shot at and took refuge at a nice familys house. The person shooting at her came over threatening to shoot her. A police report was filed. The familys friend who didnt live locally to the person who was intending to harm this poor girl took her in to keep her from being hurt or worse. That family cannot keep her and has tried every avenue looking for a place this baby can go. They have a dog who wasnt receptive to Mabel being in their home so she is being kept at their local lake house and someone is going a few times daily to walk her and feed her. They have had her over a month now with no support or help. They can only continue to care for her until Friday. Every rescue/shelter by them, near Madison, is full an cannot help. They are desperate for some help to get this girl not only safe, but help get her the happily ever after she so deserves. She has been seen by a vet and is estimated to be around 2, heartworm neg, fecal negative for parasites and spayed. She is completely house broken and non destructive when left alone. She has only met two dogs who both are not dog friendly so she did bark back at them. She loves people and wants to cuddle and give love.She obviously had a rough life and is hand shy.
