Courtesy post: Rachel (a volunteer at the SPCA) writes: Hello! I am a volunteer at the Annapolis SPCA and have made a video of a dog that I regularly work with at the shelter - Bay Bay. She is an amazing, affectionate, intelligent 3 year old pit bull mix that has sadly been at the shelter for a year. Our challenge is that she does not show well in dog room due to her barrier frustration and therefore she has been stuck in back kennel for all this time. The great news is that her reactivity with people goes away outside of her run and she regularly greets everyone with a wagging tail and kisses. Her limited exposure to the public has affected her chances of finding a home along with her limitations - no cats, dog selective and no young children. I am reaching out to community pit bull rescues and organizations in hopes that we can get her video posted and locate that individual or family who may be her perfect match. The stress of shelter life has taken its toll on her. I take her home with me on the weekends and over holidays and she is the perfect house guest!
