Courtney Sorensen I had the pleasure of volunteering at this park with these animals. This is bone digger and he has had a calcium deficiency since he was young so he is significantly smaller than most lions. He had a pin mate for a long time that passed away, and afterwards was visibly upset. These pups find there way into his cage, even with many attempts to keep them out, and jeep bone digger company. No one put them in there and they can certainly leave if they choose but theyve formed a companionship that has improved the well being of them all!! I think its amazing. One of the many reasons Ive devoted my life to working with these creatures.
