Courts / child support Ridiculous !! I get a great big thick packet in the mail certified the other day.. Stating I need to be back in court in June in Arizona.( $700 trip) . A month after transferring to Missouri with my job I get fired.. I call them to let them know I dont have the money to travel back to Arizona for something Im not disputing, Lady on the phone States write a letter to petition the court stating why you cannot make it...so I do.. She calls me yesterday saying sir for the court to recognize your petition we need $140 filing fee ..wtf? Its been a on going open case for many years .. So I asked her again theres nothing to dispute & Im not trying to avoid it , why cant you do it telephonically ? And continued to say Im not driving to Arizona and pay $700 in gas just to say yep I owe money.. Shit makes no sense to me
