Cow Star ? Today a cow came to our sterilsiation clinic in a tuk tuk which is not a sentence I have ever typed before ! Boya ( a boy born on a Poya day ) is a 5 month calf , his mother is an unowned cow who gave birth to Boya on land owned by the very kind couple who brought Boya in today Boya has deformed legs which appear to be birth defects , our vets examined him today and referred them to a local veterinary colleague for ongoing care. non cow news over the last 3 days we have sterilised 92 dogs and cats and we have another 3 days clinics before the team take a well earned Christmas Break . In January we kick off our 2015 program. We will be launching our largest ever sterilisation & Rabies campaign , with a 20 day mass Rabies vaccination program followed 100 days of mobile spay / neuter clinics running in Negombo.
