Cowtowing (the art of kissing someone’s rear end): new word of the day, thank you Radio 4. Two examples of it’s use: Annoyed that every news outlet seems to refer to Israel’s theft of 1,000 acres of land as ‘appropriating’ the land. Surely it is better for us to stop cowtowing Israel and to say it as it is. I.e. theft. When will our governments stop cowtowing the House of Saud? I say this as while I am not personally a fan of how enigmatic some become when they visit the Prophets grave in Medina, the very idea of removing it as announced just recently, really is quite depressing!
